Here are some questions we often get. Can’t find yours? Reach out anytime.

What kind of services does The Wee Wild Sauna provide?

The Wee Wild Sauna offers a unique sauna experience. Our mobile, wood fired sauna is heated to 70-90 degrees, this combined with cold-water dipping (or just cold air and a splash) are designed to rejuvenate your mind and body.

What should I bring?

Swimwear and two towels – One to sit on for hygiene reasons (and because the benches can be very hot!) and another to dry yourself off.  No neoprene is allowed in the sauna.  Footwear like flip flops are also needed if you plan to take a dip as you will need to cross some stony ground and wet shoes/neoprene socks are recommended if you want to swim.

Plenty of water to rehydrate – you will lose a lot of water through sweating, so ensure you replenish.

Warm clothing to put on after your sauna – Chances are you’ll be lovely and cosy but on winter days you might feel the chill after leaving the sauna.

A swim robe or even bathrobe – if you wish, these are nice to have between sauna rounds.

Please come in comfy clothes to allow for a quick change, this way you also maximise your sauna time. Please travel light, and if possible come ready to jump in! We don’t have a separate changing space, so be prepared to embrace the wild experience and change outside!

Where can I find you?

At Lochwinnoch:

We will be right outside the Castle Semple Visitor Centre – you can park in the Castle Semple car park or take the train and walk down from the station, the walk is about a mile or 15-20 minutes.

Is the The Wee Wild Sauna experience eco-friendly?

Yes, at TWWS we ensure our sauna is kind to both you and the environment. Our wood-fired sauna supports sustainable practices.

Are children allowed?

We would love to introduce the sauna to your family.  Please book a private session if you would like to bring under 18’s.  12-18 year olds must be accompanied by a ratio of two 12+ to one adult. If you would like to bring 8-12 year olds please get in touch with us at info@weewildsauna.co.uk and we can discuss the options.

Who should not use the Sauna?

Please read our terms of use in the link below and seek advice from your GP if you have any of the health conditions mentioned.

Is the water in Castle Semple Loch OK to swim in?
